Barn Conversion Project – Lymm, Cheshire

Overview

EasyFlow recently completed work on a stunning barn conversion in Lymm, covering over 100sqm of beautifully transformed space. The project involved installing a new underfloor heating for wooden flooring system, paired with premium liquid floor screeding to deliver an energy-efficient heating solution throughout the building.

The system was designed to provide consistent warmth across every room, improving comfort while maximising energy efficiency. Underfloor heating offers the added benefit of being discreet, with no need for radiators, making it ideal for character properties where aesthetics and preservation of architectural features are important.

Project Details

The project began with careful preparation of the concrete subfloor to ensure long-lasting performance. Our team completed a full layout design and pipework installation to deliver even heat coverage across the entire 100sqm space.

Once the underfloor heating pipework was in place, we applied high-quality liquid floor screeding to create a smooth, durable surface ready for the next stage of flooring finishes. Insulation boards and polythene separating membranes were also integrated to support system longevity and efficiency.
