Large Scale Shop Renovation Project in Rhyl
Brief
EasyFlow recently completed a large-scale commercial floor screeding project as part of a major shop renovation in sunny Rhyl.
With over 300sqm of floor space to cover, the client needed a hard-wearing, smooth subfloor to support the final floor coverings and withstand the demands of high footfall in a busy retail setting.
Key Considerations
To prepare the surface, our team began by laying a 500g polythene separating membrane, ensuring the correct base was in place for the screed application. We then installed a specially formulated anhydrite screed, known for its excellent flow characteristics and ability to form a level surface quickly. This solution was chosen for its strength and durability, making it ideal for commercial use.
The client also required a solution that would be fast to install and cost-effective in terms of both materials and labour, making liquid screed the perfect fit. Managing liquid screed cost while delivering a long-lasting finish was key to the project’s success.
What We Achieved
Our expert installers laid over 300sqm of anhydrite liquid screed, producing a perfectly level surface ready for the final floor finishes. The result was a robust base with excellent load-bearing qualities, designed to cope with regular commercial use.
The project was delivered on time and to a high standard, showcasing EasyFlow’s ability to handle complex, high-traffic environments with precision and professionalism.
