New Build in Bishop Auckland

Easyflow installers travelled up to Durham to supply and install our Easy Standard underfloor heating system in new build property.

The team prepared the floor by installing a 500 gauge polythene membrane lapped up the walls and an 8mm perimeter edging foam to allow for expansion of the screed.

A ten zone system was used to cover seven rooms on the ground floor. The pre-assembled manifold was first attached in the agreed location and the loops marked out on the floor using a bespoke computer aided design of the floor layout.

The underfloor heating pipes were then secured through the polythene using clips that fix into the insulation.

Finally, the underfloor pipework was filled with water and pressure tested before installing a liquid floor screed.
