The Textile Building, Chatham Place

Brief

Easyflow were contracted to supply and install ultra-thin Gyvlon Excelio screed to repair the ground floor after years of use as a textile factory. Situated in East London, the development would include over 85 residential units and circa 1860m2 of commercial space.

Key Considerations

The liquid screed had to be laid at 12mm with no reinforcement required. Gyvlon Excelio was chosen because it allows up to 70% reduction in bonded construction depth compared with traditional floor screeds. It reaches SR1 quality and has yup to 100% faster installation compared to a thin smoothing compound.

What We Achieved

Easyflow installed Gyvlon Excelio liquid floor screed with little complication. When dried, the factory can be developed into new residential and commercial spaces.
